Unity without uniformity
Community Standards
The conduct, moderation, due-process, appeal, and misconduct-reporting rules for Vicinism participation.
Community Standards
Vicinism is not yet a formed legal entity. Entity formation, LegalShield/counsel review, and final launch approval are pending. JC Gonzalez-Ramirez is the only interim accountable owner for this public preview.
Vicinism participation starts from equal dignity. Future members and present participants must reject political violence, intimidation, harassment, dehumanization, discrimination, corruption, doxxing, targeted exclusion, and any attempt to remove another person's rights or standing.
Roles and moderation
No active public member or chapter moderation body is formed yet. Until governance is ratified, JC Gonzalez-Ramirez is the interim accountable owner for preview standards handling. Future moderation decisions must identify the rule at issue, the evidence considered, the action taken, the review date, and the appeal path.
Due process and appeals
Warnings, pauses, removals, and reinstatements must be proportionate, documented, and open to appeal. Affected members may submit context and ask for review by an uninvolved steward. Minority reports may be appended to contested decisions when the rights floor is not at issue.
Reports and corrections
Misconduct reports route through the contact form topic for reports. Sustained corrections to public statements, standards, or enforcement decisions are published through the corrections record without exposing private reporter details.
Launch boundary: these records are draft and under legal and governance review. Live payment collection, public activation claims, active chapter claims, story claims, donor totals, and success metrics remain disabled until separate verified records approve them.
