Membership threshold

Quiz, covenant, dues, and server verification sit together so membership reads as a public commitment, not a bare payment button.

Membership payment and activation are not open yet.

Vicinism is not yet a formed legal entity. Entity formation, LegalShield/counsel review, and final launch approval are pending. JC Gonzalez-Ramirez is the only interim accountable owner for this public preview.

Public member accounts, recovery links, receipts, refunds, recurring billing, and live card collection remain closed until a separate final approval record exists.

Membership is a civic relationship.

It is not a donation funnel, a mailing-list badge, a customer loyalty plan, or proof of ideological purity. Membership begins with understanding and asks for neighborly obligation.

Closed release gate

Membership is education-only right now.

Future pricing, if approved: $12 for the first twelve months, then $1 monthly until canceled.

The server route rejects public checkout before accepting member data, before Stripe, and before recovery email while the release gate is closed.

Future lifecycle requirements

  • Entity formation and counsel review completed first
  • Quiz completion and covenant version captured only after the gate opens
  • Signed payment webhook required before any future activation
  • Receipt, paid-through date, cancellation, refund, and recovery policy published before collection
